Due to a few recent reports of confusion, I wanted to clarify that our new telephone number is a local call from the Twin Cities. It's a 612 number that you can call from any phone, anytime. The number is just directed to our computer here at the apartment, so there's really no need for you to use Skype on your end unless you want to chat with us using a webcam. Sorry we didn't manage to make that clear in our earlier post.
Scott and I are learning the numbers in Swedish class right now, along with other basic phrases. Tonight, I introduced Farooq, my partner in class, as a 77-year-old man...except he's actually 29. The first of many more amusing language blunders to come, no doubt. Skål!
